You should be able to budget for legal work the same way you budget for anything else in your business.
You shouldn’t have to make a phone call to find out whether you can afford to ask a question.
And a fee you can’t predict is a risk. We’re in the business of removing those.
All prices are final. Bowker Attorneys is not VAT registered, so there is no VAT to add.

What moves the number.
Live negotiation
If the other side is actively negotiating, the work becomes iterative. We’ll tell you before that changes anything.
A change in scope
If what you need turns out to be different from what we scoped, you get a revised estimate before any further work is done. Nothing is invoiced that wasn’t agreed.
Ongoing legal support.
R9,999 per month. Three-month minimum.
What’s included
- One contract drafted each month
- One contract reviewed each month
- Two hours of legal advice each month
Bought separately, that same work costs between R14,496 and R20,496 a month.
Ongoing support is R9,999. Roughly a third to half less.
Three months minimum. The first month is mostly spent learning how your business actually works, and you won't have seen the value of that by week four.
Unused inclusions don't roll over to the next month.
Questions about fees.
Are these prices fixed, or estimates?
Where a range is shown, the final fee is confirmed in writing before any work begins. Where a single figure is shown, that's the price.
What if the work takes longer than expected?
The agreed fee holds within the agreed scope. If the scope changes, you get a revised estimate before anything further is done.
Do I have to commit to a retainer?
No. Most clients start with a single piece of work. Ongoing support is available if and when it makes sense.
Is VAT added?
No. Bowker Attorneys is not VAT registered, so the price you see is the price you pay.
When do I pay?
Terms are set out in the written scope you receive before work begins.
